Under the Sea

Hey Guys!

I'm back with some new nail art. I created a design inspired by each of the new Barry M Coconut Infusion polishes.

The shade here is Scuba so I decided to create these bubble nails. I'm really happy with how they turned out.

Here is a closer look at them:

I started with Barry M Scuba as my base. I then applied OPI Matte top coat. I watered down some white acrylic paint and painted a circle on my nail. Following this I added a drop of water right on top and let it sit for a moment. Using a dry cotton bud I soaked up the excess water which left a faded bubble shape. I continued this layering them to create the bubbles. Once done, I created a shine mark using a detail brush and concentrated white acrylic paint.

I'm really happy with how they turned out and think they look quite effective.

That's it!

I hope you guys like them!

Let me know your thoughts - Have you used the new Coconut Infusion polishes? What do you think?

  1. Rach, I bloody love this look. Those bubbles are awesome!! I need to try this look out again as it's been ages since I've done a watercolour style mani.

  2. Great effect! I need to try this again too, but I think I will use a matte coat before the watered down paint, because my nails are super curvy and the paint runs off too easily!
